I had burdens in my heart since I was fifteen years old, but I never knew the experiences I had could forge me into who I am now.
At fifteen years old, I was tempted to allow life's challenges, depression, the stigma of unwanted predicament, low self-esteem, and battles with insecurities to define who I become in life. For nine years I had tough experiences that weren't appealing but during these moments I realized it's either I choose to "Rise" and step into the manifestation of who God has made me to be or remain amid the "stuff" and allow my past and pains to define me.
When I decided to Rise, and not allow what I've been through to determine who I become and what my future will look like, I realized I am on a mission to make a DIFFERENCE; A MAJOR CHANGE. I discovered how to overcome my past and have a life filled with God's love, peace, hope, and gratitude by applying God's Words to my life and I strongly desired to help others do the same to come out with boldness and make a DIFFERENCE.
Unknowingly, I saw myself counseling and guiding people around me. I ensured that no one around me had to go through the same thing I went through, I sacrificed my time to counseling Teenagers, Youth, and Adults who were interested in learning from what
God has opened my eyes to know and what I learned while I was in the midst of the "stuff".
The process of transforming from one who is timid and fearful due to past experiences to who I am now in Christ takes dedication, commitment to spiritual growth, and discipline.
In the year 2022, it became clear that God would have me make this mission known and reach out to many souls that need to Rise and Walk, which was why we started as Teens Rise and Walk, and in 2023 the vision and missions became clearer.
It has been an awesome journey from Day 1 of the commencement of this Mission and we can't thank God enough for helping and seeing us through every bit of the journey till date and henceforth.
He has given us the mandate to run with and as He continues to grant us clarity, lead, and instruct us, we'll deliver with His help to the world.
My name is Oluwatosin Ayobami Abayomi. I aim to raise ones that will emerge in all spheres of life with God-breathed counsel (Eccl 12:11) according to the mandate He has given me.
